“It has been incredibly interesting to be separated from the work I had been doing as a VISTA and to look back on it. I have truly missed actively working toward something that feels bigger than me. Despite the challenges that come with service, I think it is one of the best ways to forge stronger bonds between individuals and communities, and I look forward to being a part of that circle again soon.”
